I am Christopher Donaghue.
I am a sound designer and composer. I provide professional sound design and original music scores for film, television, radio, internet and advertisements. All are delivered within deadline, fully mastered and ready for broadcast. I also write sound branding logos and have a stable of voice-over artists with a diverse range of accents, both British and American.
I have a BSc in Clinical Psychology specialising in the Psychology of Music, namely exploring the effects of tonality and rhythm on perceived emotion. I also have an MA in Music Composition and Sound Design.
I'm not linked to one genre or another. I can write the score as a character, bold and central, or I can hide it underneath the image so one only notices it when it stops playing.
The genres of music I write in follow: Classical, modern classical and contemporary classical. Blues, both acoustic and electric. All forms of Jazz. Musique concrète, Ambient and all electronic dance music from Dubstep through Techno. Reggae, Soul and R&B and any and all forms of Incidental music.
I am also a recording artist, under the name Lord Cry Cry, signed to record label Generation Bass in the UK and have numerous plays on global radio including; Radio 1 uk, Kiss FM uk, Kiss FM de, XFM uk, Motor FM de, Radio 1 de, NYC 91.5 FM Mo-Glo New York..................
